My experience with Thomas and Justin and Ricky was far more than I have ever experienced with any other A/C Company and then some. Believe me, I have used many different A/C companies over the years. I have never experience the expertise, professionalism and kindness and respectfulness that Justin and Thomas showed me when they came back to do the final installation. They took their time to explain everything they were doing while installing my new A/C unit and how to operate my thermostat properly. Very very professional young men. The technician came out on a short notice today. He was very upfront and honest and did what needed to be done to get our ac working again.

I called Central Heat and Air yesterday because our upstairs unit was only blowing warm air. The scheduler (receptionist?) was extremely polite and accommodating. She was able to get an appointment for us the next day! I am so thankful we didn't have to wait too long for our appointment. Central heat and air installed a new unit about 4 years ago . Everything has worked very well. Recently I called them about another unit , not installed by them. They came out , researched the problem and found a faulty thermostat was causing the issue. They also installed additional coolant and the unit works great now. My heat pump was not cooling, call several companies and they said they could not see me for at least a week. Then I called Central Heat and Air and even though I was not a regular customer they were able to see me the next day. Matt came out an assist my problem quickly and inform me that the unit could not be repaired efficiently and that I needed a new unit. He was very friendly and courteous and explain the situation to where I understood he even sent pictures to my phone. Unfortunately I could not use them to to replace my unit because I have a home warranty and they have their own company. But if I could use them for full service I would definitely do it. I recommend this company to anyone.

Frank came out on time and replaced a couple of capacitors and even explained what they did and why they would go bad, another thing I liked is that he showed me a binder with all of the pricing that way there was no guessing would definitely use this company again.

This company has wonderful and professional service! Our air went out on Friday and I called at 6:00 a.m Saturday morning since our home warranty could not get anyone out to us. A mechanic was at our house within an hour, fitting us in his busy schedule...bright and early Saturday morning!! Thank you to Steve for servicing our unit and getting it to cool again! Same day service and they sent me their best named Stephen Burzese. Found out my system was ok after all and learned a lot. Just a service charge was all it came to. He knows his schit about A/C. Will use again!!

My home central air conditioning unit was not cooling. the evaporator coils were a complete block of ice. Ice had formed on the connections to the lines from the compressor. The technician that responded, Travis Ashe, diagnosed the problem source as low coolant in the system. He explained the operation of the system thouroughly to enable me to make an informed decision. I elected to have him de-ice the evaporator coils and re-charge the system, with the knowledge that the problem could reoccur. He completed the work promptly. He also provided an estimate of cost of a replacement unit should I decide to do so. The A/C has been working fine for the month tht has elapsed since the sevice call.

Prompt response and friendly service. Doc installed our Nest thermostat in the spring of this year and came back when we started having problems with it when the weather got cold. He determined there was a mix-up in the wiring, fixed it up, and didn't charge us for the return visit. Very satisfied with our experience.

Got a word of mouth recommendation for this company after one of my bids came in as an outlier. Quoteed me for an R-22 changeout in a 27 year old rental duplex. Bid came in as lowest before adding an extended warranty and service contract and was still within a $100 of lowest even then. Installers did a great job of mating the indoor unit to the plenum using sheet metal instead of the "cheater" accordian that the builder used. My only "complaint," if you can call it that, is that the new (Emerson) thermostat provided has you go into a "secret" menu for adjusting the short cycle lockout timer, but it's still a quality unit from a good manufacturer (ICP/Carrier/Tempstar). Overall would use again.

I called Central when our blower motor went out and they had their service technician, Frank Fugent out to our house the following day. He ordered the parts we needed which came within a few days and installed them in short order. Frank also found the beginning of black mold in which he informed us what was needed to stop it. Frank was great! He answered all our questions and explained things in a step by step way of what he was doing so we could understand. He was patient, kind, courteous, efficient and professional. We have used Central for years and wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you Central and thank you Frank Fugent!

Ac quit 7/19. Tech came out 20th, on time. Was rainy day so I provided a canopy over heat pump. He checked current to fan & said it was no good, need new one? Checked again and worked but capacitor needed replaced-again! Was suggested to sell us a newer start-up system that would lessen load, cost of $658.00. This is 4th time for capacitor replace. Upon replacing, switch broke and did not have another. He thought taping would suffice. I was just sold on install of new parts, I was not ok using a repaired broken part. He does have a better 2 pole switch if I would prefer. After replacement, system was up & running. Then Tech proceeded to clean heat pump very well, much more than previous ones. Came inside and cleaned condenser, checked for freon and if needed charging. Over all, our Tech did a good service and repair to our system. I would recommend him and Central Heat & Air to friends and family. When it's 92 degrees outside and humid, there's nothing like a good running AC system. Thank you.

We bought a new AC Unit in 2016 this company. after having it almost a year, it seemed as if we needed a little more of a AC Unit to keep the house comfortable. We called Doc and Tony and they was out here within a half a day to take readings and run more test and discovered that we would be better off with a larger unit. Took them a day to get the unit in , 3 hrs to put it in! They was, prompt, quick and kept my pregnant self, my husband and 3 kids w 2. 🐕and 🐱cool. EXCEPTIONALLY pleased with the service. The person answering the phone could not have been more friendly, and the same goes for the guy who came out. He quickly saw the problem, and showed it to me (the duct work in the basement was falling down - someone else had installed it) and the fix was way cheaper than I was anticipating. He set a date to have his guys work on it, and they came out on that date (on time!!), friendly and did a great job. I give them a five star rating and will use them indefinitely as my heat and air company. Summary: Everything ran smoothly, and for a great price - can't ask for anything more. Thanks!

He followed up often to ensure the work was performed well and the equipment was functioning properly. He also made a strong effort to get me the rebates that TVA had advertised were available with HVAC upgrades. I would strongly recommend Zack Putnam with Central Heat & Air to anyone.

Our technician was real communicative about when he'd arrive, and he was very thorough. Within about 10-15 minutes he was pretty sure why our system wasn't working, and fortunately it wasn't going to be an expensive fix. A few minutes later he'd had the problem fully diagnosed and tested. I'm spite of that, he still ran a few more tests just to rule out another potential underlying problem or two. While our tech was working, he gave me a few pieces of advice and made me aware of some mold that was beginning to develop inside my system. He didn't try to sell me a cure or anything, but he taught me what some of my options are before he took off. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Our AC unit went out one weekend and I called the office about 8:30 on Monday morning. The repair technician was at our house by 11- fixed the problem and cleaning the AC unit in about 40 minutes. Nate came out the other day to perform our regular 6-month service. While here, he found an issue with the condensation line, as well as a failing capacitor. Both were taken care of under our warranty. He really did an excellent job! The repair to the condensation line now has our system running much quieter. Honestly, I was seriously thinking about not renewing our service for the next year. But, after the great work he did, I thought it was a no-brainer... we'll definitely be renewing six months from now. Thanks for the great support!

We had our HVAC completely replaced and upgraded, including the ductwork. The experience was as good as could be. Frank the salesman was very responsive and helpful. Zach and the install crew were on-time, communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Even when there was a misunderstanding on the scope of work, they made it right by sending a crew back out to complete the additional work, no charge, and again, went above and beyond. Everything they do exudes customer service. I can’t recommend this company highly enough.

ABSOLUTELY EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!!! I would like to begin this review with a little background about myself...I am a Journeyman IBEW Union Electrician. I have worked on everything from residential houses to large industrial power plants. I have also been responsible for overseeing numerous commercial and industrial electrical projects. I was told by an employer that they send me to new customers where they really want to make a good first impression because of the caliber of my work and the pride that I take in my work. The reason I gave my some of my background, is because I want everyone reading this to know that this is coming from an experienced tradesman that KNOWS what pride and craftsmanship look like. In the trades, your name and reputation follow you everywhere you go, so when you recommend someone, you better mean it, because that recommendation also follows you. We tend to not recommend very many people, including close family members... With that being said, "I ABSOLUTELY, 100% RECOMMEND CENTRAL HEAT & AIR!!!". I needed to have a new heat pump installed and got 4 different quotes. From the beginning, when I first spoke with Frank Fugunt, I felt like I was talking to a friend because of his honesty and sincerity. When he came to my home to do the quote, he listened to my concerns and did everything in his power to make sure that my family's concerns and needs could be met. I have worked around many people that only care about their profit margins and hurrying up to get to the next "job" by cutting as many corners as they can without getting caught. In the first 5 min, I could tell Frank was not in it for the money, but because he enjoyed helping people. He was very knowledgeable and thorough when he came to do the estimate. He was also the ONLY one of the 4 quotes that mentioned doing a load calculation before giving a price. (That brand new top-of-the-line unit you are about to spend thousands of dollars on isn't going to be efficient if this calculation is not correct.) I cannot say enough good things about Frank. It has been a blessing to have met him. As for the actual install...THOSE MEN DESERVE A RAISE!!! That crew of young men ABSOLUTELY BLEW ME AWAY!! Out of the hundreds, if not thousands of men and women I have worked with, that was one of the best teams of tradesmen I have ever witnessed. It was a pleasure seeing the teamwork, pride, and craftsmanship that those men displayed. They were polite, respectful to me and to each other, diligent, EXCELLENT craftsmen, and you couldn't ask for better attitudes. I told their foreman and called Frank to brag on them. I told them that if they were electricians, I would do everything in my power to recruit them. (It's hard enough to find one guy with all of those qualities, having a team is unheard of.) It was pleasure to see Frank & their Foreman/Journeyman, Larry, share their knowledge and wisdom with the young men. Thank you guys so much for your hard work and for doing it with pride and craftsmanship! You should be proud! And thank you for giving me something that I can look at every day for the next 10+ years and be proud of. You guys are a perfect example of teamwork and the type of crew that every owner/foreman/project manager dreams of. They fixed old system issues and did a great job.

I was really surprised at how nice everything was. In my house, they installed heating and air conditioning and all the ducting. The unit is practically silent, way quieter than any other air conditioning unit I’ve ever come across before. And they sent a box of goodies afterwards to thank us for choosing them, which was so sweet of them. Would recommend to anyone and would use again!

I had someone else to come and look at it and wanted to replace the whole furnace for $2900. Did not really look at it and check it out. Then I remembered the name and called them. They had been here b4. They come to look at it, stayed late, tracked down the problem and FIXED IT. Great service and very nice. Saved over $2100.00 that I did not have. THANK YOU CENTRAL HEAT & AIR! Will not use anyone else....

I have used central air and heat for at least 5 years now they are great ,with everything they do ,and when we were in trouble when our unit went out Frank (the owner ) was there to walk us threw to getting us a new unit that was meant for my home it's not here yet but I will surely let anyone know how great my new unit is along with central air and heat keep up the Great work

Our ac unit recently stopped working. Called central heat and air based on the good reviews. Stephen came when he said he would and he was actually early 👍👍. He immediately knew what to look for and showed me the whole process. He looked for the simple things first and immediately found the problem. He replaced a couple of things and even hosed down and cleaned our ac unit. We had ac running in less than an hour thanks to Stephen. Stephen is as honest as they come and saved me and my family time and money with his repair work. 5 stars all the way. Affordable and dependable. They do it all. I called and they dispatched a technician out the same day. He came and had it figured out within 10 minutes, went to get a part and came back and actually did all the work in the dark. Very courteous and explained everything and pricing beforehand. I definitely would recommend this company to others that need hvac repair or replacement. We signed up for their maintenance plan for all our future needs(hopefully there won’t be any 😜) we are once again in the cool 😎

Awesome dealing with Matt and Central Heat and Air! Finding a solution for our house was a difficult task. Matt and the other techs took time to look at all possibilities for solutions and did not just give up when a problem arises. Matt was very professional during this time. Other companies I have worked with, and I’m a contractor, don’t go to the level of customer service as Matt and his team did.

Tech was timely and resolved our issue quickly.

Central Heat&Air came out today and out in our 2 mini split units. They were very professional, polite, and knew their business. Zach Putman is very friendly knowledgeable and when he came out to do the estimate was very professional. He suggested what would be best our our little home. The staff Central Heating and Air LLC are very friendly and knowledgeable. We love our new system. Our power bills have been reduced by almost half since getting the updated system installed. We highly recommend them.

August 2024 Update: One of my units stopped cooling and Central Heat and Air (to my surprise) was able to have tech over the next day! Nate was very personable, got right to work. He found the problem quickly, fixed it and did a Fall check up on both units before he left. I couldn't be happier! The best part for me -- if I do run into a bigger, more expensive problem down the road, I won't hesitate to call. I feel confident they know their stuff and I would be given reliable recommendations that would be handled professionally and at a very fair price! The Winter Visit: The technician was very thorough and gave me some great tips I hadn't heard before to help me keep my unit working at the best capacity/efficiency. Highly recommend!

My wife and I won a contest from Central Heat and Air for a brand new HVAC unit and yesterday they delivered on their promise! On Wednesday Frank Fugent came out to our house and inspected the old unit, discovered what we needed, and advised us on some upgrades that we needed. He then told me that they had the unit in stock and his install team would be there the next day to put in the new unit. Larry, Josh, and Justin arrived at 8:30am to install the new unit and clean the entire ductwork system. They were very professional, cleaned up the mess left over from their work, and left us with a new HVAC system that works great. They were very friendly and cared about our concerns. I would recommend Central Heat & Air to any of my friends and family. Thank you to Frank, Larry and the entire team! Well done guys!

Central Heat & Air is FANTASTIC. All the staff is super friendly. Josh came in a fixed our leaking unit in no time. He took pictures of all his work and included them in our invoice.
