I always request Terry Crackel because he has been to my home many times and is always very thorough with the inspection and cleaning of the HVAC system. The service was excellent but the price was very high compared to just 2 years ago. Two years ago this maintenance agreement for 2 inspections per year was $99. This year it cost $229 for the same 2 inspections. Why was the price so high? The inspection took about 15 minutes.

Terry came out and took care of our system maintenance. Everything was fine.

I needed a mini split installed in a metal building that I have. They were very good about understanding my needs and not over or under estimating what I needed. Josh and Justin Came and did the install. They were very professional in making the area look as neat as possible, and making sure that they met my expectations in a very timely manner.

Matt is outstanding! Exceptional customer service and technical skill. My son is interested in electrical and HVAC. While he worked, Matt took the time to talk to him about everything he was doing. Even my dogs love him!

We had two professionals st one time. Since we were new to the yearly service and it was fall they checked the air conyitioner and the furnace. They both came on time in 2 different vehicles, we met one young gentleman before. They gredted us and went right to work checking our 2 systems. So far I think they are a great company and we will see if they are true to their word andput us at the top of the list if there is an emergency. By the way the way thev2 young gentleman were very polite.

Central Heat and Air recently installed a ductless mini-split in my downstairs apartment, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I've been utilizing the services of Central Heat & Air for a few years now. They have provided routine maintenance and service at my rental property and home. When we purchased our home I knew I had an older heat pump that was going to require some care until it was replaced. When it came time to replace the unit I was confident I was making the right decision, and they provided options that could fit most budgets as well as offered satisfactory financing. We also had a second unit that was a problem from the day we moved in that ended up being replaced at the same time. Zach provided me with the initial troubleshooting service and helped me determine which replacement units to choose. When the supply house made some errors, all was resolved within 24 hours. I have probably worked with most of their service (Matt and Zach) or install staff (Larry, Matthew, and Josh) at this point and every single one of them have shown dedication to their craft, customer service, and have been excellent communicators throughout a large unplanned purchase.

Central Heat and Air technician Matt performed semi-annual maintenance on our heat pump which being on the roof of a 4-story building required climbing a pull-down stair, walking through the attic and doing the maintenance. Matt did it all with a smile and great professionalism. Thanks

We have had good service from Central Heat & Air. The one time we had to call them out when our heating system was not working properly, they came out promptly and repaired the problem. We always keep the yearly maintenance agreement in place as well.

Zach quickly diagnosed the issue as a plugged drain line which caused damage to the return line. Though his schedule was pretty full he did the maintenance (which wasn't planned)without complaint. He exhibited the utmost in courtesy and professionalism.

Tommy is always knowledgeable about situations and has good advice for solutions. He is patient and eager to help. He has been servicing our HVAC for years and knows it inside and out. We really trust him. He takes extra time to educate us as well.

My Old review is still the Same as this one. They replaced our old unit and Haven't had any issues with it. Have however had problems with parts that wear out but they're quick to get someone out and even do emergency calls if you are in desperate need which I love. 10/10 would recommend!

Tony and his crew are fantastic to work with. Air went out on Monday afternoon. Dispatch was pleasant to work with and upfront advising it may be Wednesday before they are able to come out. Frank, Josh, and Matt installed a ductless mini split on what was to become the hottest day of June 2025! We gave them much needed water but they gave us a room so cool we now need sweaters on. Turn around time from the service call trip to repair of one unit and to the installation of another was very quick and within the time frame where our day to day operation was not interrupted or any inconvenience to our groups staying here on retreat.

Mr Crackel showed up ahead of time. Then he checked out the air handler. Then checked out the heat pump found out it was 5 lbs low added r410 to the system.Now the air handler and heat pump is working properly again. He is a very good person and technician.

I was very pleased to have Matt again since he knows my situation as a widow trying to maintain my home. I was concerned about a vibration under the house, but it was not the air-conditioner. He noticed some problems with the settings of the dehumidifier and changed them. Despite our rainy weather, I still need it to do its job! So he was looking after both situations!

When our thermostat registered an error message, I called Central Heat & Air. Within 2 hours a technician arrived to diagnose and repair the problem. Fast response, and competent service!

After years of service and purchasing the Routine maintenance plans, which I highly recommend, Our 27 year old unit decided to give out. Terry came out on Monday and inspected it to see what had happened. After informing me of what it would cost to repair it, I decided to have them order a new unit for us. I also had them clean the duct work. TJ and Matt came on Friday morning, Cleaned the ducts and return air section and then installed the new unit, working during rain showers, and installed a new thermostat. Explained what was being done inside and outside and also how to use the thermostat. Thoroughly cleaned up inside and outside. Did a Very good job and they were very polite and pleasant throughout the work being performed. Very pleased with the work and recommend Central Heat & Air .

The other day I called central heat and air to come out and look to see what was wrong with our units. Unfortunately, they needed to be replaced as they were already 16 years old. I highly recommend this company! Everyone who I interacted with, the initial Technician (Matt) and the team who installed (Matt and TJ), were all great! Everyone was extremely nice and answered any questions I had! They knew what they were doing and were very thorough.

When it was time to replace my central HVAC unit, I contacted 3 companies for quotes; Central Heat & Air offered a great package unit, installation and haul away of the old unit at a competitive price. The installation was scheduled; their installation team arrived punctually and did a professional job on the contracted work. All debris/equipment was removed from site, new connections, drain lines, and new thermostat installed. We were experiencing low air flow to the rear of the house; the installers repaired duct leaks on exposed duct work; some areas were very challenging to access. They also discovered a significant duct breach in an area that a competitor had missed on a previous repair job; Central Heating and Air repaired that leak/breach as well. We were thrilled by their service, attention to detail, timeliness of work, and quality of workmanship. A subsequent job on our finished basement ceiling revealed another substantial duct leak; we called Central Heat & Air for a quote to replace that line of ductwork; their quote was reasonable and were awarded the job. When performing this work, Central Heat & Air were very respectful of our home, layer out protection on the flooring, neatly removed a section of the ceiling to access the run of duct, and replaced it expertly (was a challenging job to run the duct around floor bracing). The work area was cleaned before they left. Again, we were thrilled with the quality of the work performed. I would highly recommend Central Heat & Air; they are a reputable and professional company.

Central came for our scheduled maintenance program. The technicians name was Nate. He was very polite and courteous. He was on time. He was neat and clean. He fix the problem with the unit that we didn’t even know we had. We are very satisfied with the service from Central. We would never go anywhere else. They have always been available whenever we called them. If you want professional work, they are the people.

Larry and Phillip, installers with Central Heat and Air, worked smoothly together as a professional team as they replaced our old duct system with a fabulous ultra modern duct work system in just two days. The quality of their work is the best I've ever seen and I'm 80 years young. I highly recommend the Central Heat and Air professionals to any of you for all of your HAVC needs. The cost was worth every penny. Some of the best money my wife and I have ever spent. The air is so pure and fresh now. Nate, the technician from Central Heat And Air came out to service our unit and did an excellent job. He was very very professional. He answered all our questions we had offered suggestions to improve the overall service of our unit. August 2024 Update: One of my units stopped cooling and Central Heat and Air (to my surprise) was able to have tech over the next day! Nate was very personable, got right to work. He found the problem quickly, fixed it and did a Fall check up on both units before he left. I couldn't be happier! The best part for me -- if I do run into a bigger, more expensive problem down the road, I won't hesitate to call. I feel confident they know their stuff and I would be given reliable recommendations that would be handled professionally and at a very fair price! The Winter Visit: The technician was very thorough and gave me some great tips I hadn't heard before to help me keep my unit working at the best capacity/efficiency. Highly recommend!

Nate came out the other day to perform our regular 6-month service. While here, he found an issue with the condensation line, as well as a failing capacitor. Both were taken care of under our warranty. He really did an excellent job! The repair to the condensation line now has our system running much quieter. Honestly, I was seriously thinking about not renewing our service for the next year. But, after the great work he did, I thought it was a no-brainer... we'll definitely be renewing six months from now. Thanks for the great support!

My experience with Thomas and Justin and Ricky was far more than I have ever experienced with any other A/C Company and then some. Believe me, I have used many different A/C companies over the years. I have never experience the expertise, professionalism and kindness and respectfulness that Justin and Thomas showed me when they came back to do the final installation. They took their time to explain everything they were doing while installing my new A/C unit and how to operate my thermostat properly. Very very professional young men. I would definitely recommend them at the highest level. If you ever need someone to come out and do anything with your heat and air units they are definitely the highest rated around here. If I could, I would give them a 10 star and believe me, I don’t take that lightly. Nor do I say things that I do not mean? Now that I have found the right company for my heat and AC unit. I will continue to use them.. I will never have to call any other. It is and has been a blessing, Thank the Lord.

We had our HVAC completely replaced and upgraded, including the ductwork. The experience was as good as could be. Frank the salesman was very responsive and helpful. Zach and the install crew were on-time, communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Even when there was a misunderstanding on the scope of work, they made it right by sending a crew back out to complete the additional work, no charge, and again, went above and beyond. Everything they do exudes customer service. I can’t recommend this company highly enough.

Our technician was real communicative about when he'd arrive, and he was very thorough. Within about 10-15 minutes he was pretty sure why our system wasn't working, and fortunately it wasn't going to be an expensive fix. A few minutes later he'd had the problem fully diagnosed and tested. I'm spite of that, he still ran a few more tests just to rule out another potential underlying problem or two. While our tech was working, he gave me a few pieces of advice and made me aware of some mold that was beginning to develop inside my system. He didn't try to sell me a cure or anything, but he taught me what some of my options are before he took off. Couldn't have been more pleased.
